About

Alexander is a PhD candidate at the Department of Sociology in the University of Cambridge and a member of King’s College. His main research interests are political sociology, international and comparative political economy and public health. He currently works on comparative social policy analysis under the supervision of Lawrence King.


Before starting his PhD, Alexander worked in the private and non-profit sectors. He holds an MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge, where he was supervised by Ha-Joon Chang, and an undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Athens. His doctoral studies are supported by the Greek State Scholarships Foundation and the Onassis Foundation.
