Problems with the NTServer
Subwebs and Security Problem Creating subwebs with specific permissions in order to security protect sections of your database (using the NTServer security permissions - see Security) will cause the connection to the database (in the fpdb folder) to be lost in the subwebs. Solution You will need to tell the subweb pages to find the database in the main web folder, as they will be looking for a file (called global.asa) in the subweb that points to the database. There are therefore 2 steps: |
Spam protecting your website
Spam Email derives from spambot search engines taking Email addresses from the HTML of websites. There are two simple methods for avoiding this: either write the address in Unicode, or use a javascript program to write the address.
Or use the online unicode converter to convert your Email address to Unicode for displaying on the web.
