Salman Taherian
I was a Research Associate at the Digital Technology Group (DTG)
headed by Andy Hopper.
Previously, I obtained my PhD in Distributed Event-based Middleware for
Sensor Networks, supervised by Jean
Bacon (and advised by Jon Crowcroft) at the Systems Research Group (Opera). I am a member of
St John's College,
Research Activity
- SESAME (SEnsing in Sport And Managed
Exercise):
SESAME is an EPSRC funded project (EP/D076943). It is a multidisciplinary
group formed to investigate the use of wireless sensor-based systems with
offline and real-time processing and feedback in enhancing the performance
of elite athletes and young athletes who have been identified as having
